About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the migration of projects from Jira and Github projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize migration requirements.
Develop and maintain a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Ensure that all migration activities are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the migration process.
Act as the primary point of contact for all migration-related inquiries and issues.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
Ensure that best practices and standards are followed throughout the migration process.
Continuously evaluate and improve the migration process based on feedback and lessons learned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on migration projects.
Proven experience in migrating projects from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
Strong understanding of both Jira and Github projects
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Jira and Github projects is highly preferable.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
