To boost offline Sales of Small Bird & Fish division In Pet foods.
Responsible for identifying and creating opportunities for company growth, primarily through
assigned brands.
This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
Research and identify new business opportunities for development, including but not restricted to new
customers, new markets, new routes to market, new products, competitor activities, and trends.
Develop and build business partnerships that will result in long-term profitable contracts.
Manage agreed existing customer accounts to strengthen performance and improve profitability, namely
customers in the international partners, Pet Trade sector, E-retail, Industry Influencers, etc.
Actively manage brand accounts through relationship management, product range management,
promotion & pricing strategy, inventory management, and competition market data.
Track and forecast individual brand and product performance metrics communicating internally and
externally.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to establish relations with major suppliers.
Set and monitor net sales target goals for assigned brands, regions, and/or client accounts
As a key interface, work with the sales team in areas of the business to deliver customer requirements:
i.e. technical knowledge, product presentations, and promotional proposals.
Manage marketing spending to stay within a set budget, Evaluate all promotional activity for
effectiveness
Work closely on product branding, and visibility as per brand guidelines
Attendance at trade exhibitions and customer events to develop business.
Build a strong, in-depth foundation of knowledge for all company brands/products
Gain an awareness of cross-functional departments within the business to build product and processing
knowledge.
Communication skills – Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with consumers and key stakeholders
while operating and working with an international team in different time zones
Strong listening, written and verbal skills – Ability to demonstrate sales capability, knowledge and
understanding of the business, products, and people. Excellent verbal, written & listening communication skills,
including strong presentation, negotiation and influencing abilities
Commercial Acumen – Understands the impact of costs and has a focus on profit when driving sales growth.
Able to understand the financial impact of actions.
Techsavvy: Email, Office 365, Advanced Excell, PPT etc…
Analytical Skill: Exposure in Trend Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Demographical Analysis, White spot Analysis
Etc..
• Masters/Equivalent degree in Business or related discipline with 5 or more years of experience.
• Experience in selling to major accounts. Full understanding of frontline customer services and handling difficult
situations with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Category Understanding of the pets or pet food industry/ F& B.
