Job Description

As a Business Development Manager in the Metals & Minerals sector at Cotecna India, your primary mission is to acquire, develop, and maintain new business in the Metals & Minerals industry in the Gujarat Region. Key Responsibilities: - Secure new revenue within Cotecna India's existing client portfolio and actively seek out new clients, focusing on hunting new business opportunities. - Ensure an exceptional client service experience at all times by collaborating with the local/regional team for smooth business execution. - Develop and implement structured sales strategies to achieve set targets in consultation with the Regional Manager-East and Business Director - Metals & Minerals. - Drive Minerals business development in the east region by generating sales of Cotecna's services and aligning sales strategies with the group's overall strategy. - Dedicate at least 70% of your time to business development activities and the remaining 30% to inspection coordination of existing and new projects in the region. - Explore and capitalize on business opportunities in the eastern region to achieve personal sales targets. - Stay updated on market trends through client interactions and industry meetings, providing valuable feedback to the management. - Collaborate closely with the team, sharing knowledge, ideas, and support to achieve targets and inspection requirements. - Develop and implement a business development plan for innovative projects in the eastern region, ensuring compliance with approved strategies. - Monitor and address customer complaints and claims to maintain a zero-complaint record. - Ensure full compliance with all Group procedures and policies, with a focus on managing profitability and financial aspects of the minerals business in the region. - Meet and exceed monthly and annual regional minerals budget targets, ensuring timely updates, issuance of certificates/reports, and collection of inspection fees. - Implement management controls and procedures to maintain an efficient organizational structure for the minerals business in the region. - Identify and develop personnel with the right competencies to handle increased responsibilities and closely monitor costs for profitability. Qualifications, Experience, and Technical Skills: - Graduation from a University or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in minerals inspection. - Demonstrated management experience and ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in key managerial domains. - Well-organized, methodical, accurate, and flexible, with significant experience in executing inspection orders and mentoring and leading teams.
