BIM Manager or Lead BIM Engineer
within our Energy and Power Sector reporting into the Primary Discipline heads and responsible for the implementation of the UK BIM Framework including ISO19650 Series along with regional specific BIM standards within your allocated projects.

Manager/Lead Engineer
within our Business Units you will undertake a key role in helping our clients achieve their goals and outcomes. As an individual we would look for you to show experience in project delivery, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. The knowledge, skills and experience we value are varied as we continue to develop diverse teams. Additionally, you will also be able to;Role & responsibilities as BIM Manager
- Developing BIM Execution Plans and Knowledge of ISO 19650.
- Align all the team to set up working procedures & workflows.
- Perform Project BIM Set-ups - Create, set up, coordinate with Information Managers and Execution Plans.
- Drawing deliveries to the desired quality standards and according to mutually agreed timelines with the client. QA/QC champion & project delivery excellence champion.
- Liaising with the international offices, Local project delivery team, Inter-disciplines and clients
- Should be able to communicate confidently with Clients and Lead region counterparts.
- Create and publish federated models.
- Host BIM coordination meetings (internal and external)
- Perform clash detection and manage clash resolution with support of discipline leads.
- Supervise deliverable and data extraction form BIM model.
- Coordinating staff training to enhance staff members’ knowledge and expertise of the standardized software used.

Here’s What You’ll Need
- Minimum Diploma or BE/B-Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 8-20 years of total experience in Transmission and Distribution Project, Power Distribution Projects, Substations, Industrial Buildings, etc
- Be proficient in the use of Autodesk software like Revit Building suite, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise. Additional skills on other Autodesk software and Bentley Software will be considered as an advantage.
- Proven Leadership ability and able to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Ready to take an active role in meeting the Project deliverable goals related to timeline and quality. Maintains QA/QC records throughout the phase of the project in accordance with Jacobs BMS policy
- Knowledge of design processes within a multi-disciplinary delivery environment.
- Experience of implementing various interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems.
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and have a can-do attitude.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
