Billing Executive

Job Purpose

The Billing Executive will support the procurement team in billing, invoice verification, purchase entry, and basic documentation related to the buying of fruits and vegetables. The role ensures accurate billing records and smooth coordination between vendors, procurement, and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Documentation

• Prepare and verify purchase bills and invoices for fruits & vegetables
• Enter purchase bills in the system / Excel accurately
• Cross-check quantities, rates, and totals as per purchase orders
• Maintain daily billing records and files

Procurement Support

• Coordinate with procurement team for daily buying requirements
• Assist in recording vendor-wise purchase details
• Support market purchase entries and cash purchase bills
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly purchase summaries

Vendor Coordination

• Communicate with vendors for bill collection and corrections
• Ensure bills are submitted on time with proper details
• Maintain vendor-wise billing and payment follow-ups

Reporting & Records

• Prepare basic reports for management and accounts team
• Maintain proper physical and digital filing of bills
• Support accounts team during audits or verification

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of billing and invoice handling
• Understanding of procurement or purchase process (preferred)
• Ability to work with Excel / basic computer systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-moving procurement environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
