Billing Engineer

Experience & Qualifications:

Qualification: B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech – CE / CM

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Industry: Construction

Roles & Responsibility:

1. Assisting in Bill Preparation:

 Assist in preparing detailed bills for clients and subcontractors.

 Ensure accuracy in billing details and compliance with contractual terms.

2. Measurement and Quantity Verification:

 Support in conducting site measurements and verifying quantities of materials and work done.

 Ensure accurate recording and documentation of quantities as per drawings and site conditions.

 Assist in updating quantity records regularly.

3. Coordination and Communication:

 Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to gather necessary billing information.

 Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding billing-related queries and issues.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

 Maintain records of all billing-related documents, including invoices, receipts, and contracts.

 Prepare and present regular reports on billing status and financial data to senior

engineers.

 Assist in preparing budget vs. actual reports to track financial performance.

5. Material Reconciliation Support:

 Assist in reconciling materials used on site with billing records to ensure accuracy.

 Track material usage and wastage under the supervision of senior engineers.

 Prepare basic reports on material reconciliation for review.

6. Rate Analysis Assistance:

 Support in conducting rate analysis for various construction activities and materials.

 Ensure that rates used in billing and estimation are competitive and reflect current market conditions.

Skills Required:

 Communication skills

 Knowledge of ERP.

 Microsoft office suit (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)

 Documentation Skills

 Interpersonal Skills

 Software Skills - AutoCAD
