Job Posting: Billing Engineer Application Process: Interested candidates can send their CVs to career@senghani.co.in We are Looking for: Department: Billing (Civil Work) Role: Billing Engineer Industry: Engineering & Construction Location: On Site, Mumbai (All Areas) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: Budget Management: Prepare, review, and establish budgetary controls, and phase-wise budget reviews to manage cost variations. Vendor Due-Diligence: Conduct due-diligence on vendors and sub-contractors. Scope Changes: Record and obtain client approval for changes in project scope. Invoicing: Ensure timely submission of client invoices and review subcontractor/vendor bills. Team Management: Oversee the Quantity Surveying and Billing Team, including supervising reporting staff. Variation Management: Submit variation proposals and liaise with clients. Financial Closeout: Ensure proper financial closeout of projects and document lessons learned. Cost Calculation: Take off quantities from drawings, calculate project costs, and record variations. Cash Flow Support: Assist planning engineers in preparing cash flow forecasts. Process Implementation: Implement costing, forecasting, and change control systems. Risk Input: Contribute to project risk preparation and Cost-To-Completion reports. Sub-Contract Management: Handle the full sub-contract cycle. Commercial Advice: Provide commercial advice and prepare MIS Reports for management. Relationship Management: Develop and improve relationships within the project team and with subcontractors and suppliers. Must-Have Skills: Billing, Sub-Contractor Billing, Client Billing, Quantity Surveying, Bar Bending Schedule, Rate Analysis Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 10 years in billing and planning within the construction industry. Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering / B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred. Skills: In-depth knowledge of billing processes, project planning, and documentation.
