Billing Engineer - Facade

Job Purpose:

The Billing Engineer ensures accurate measurement, documentation, and certification of work executed at the site. The role involves preparation of client bills, subcontractor bills, reconciliation, and supporting project accounts with timely and accurate quantity updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare client and subcontractor bills as per contract terms, progress, and certified quantities.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities executed against drawings and site progress.
• Maintain reconciliation of material consumption versus approved BOQ.
• Coordinate with site engineers, planning, design, and procurement teams for billing-related documentation.
• Prepare backup documentation for RA bills, final bills, escalation bills, and variation claims.
• Track billing schedules, cash flow projections, and support monthly progress reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Review as-built drawings, work order details, and contractual scope to avoid deviations or disputes.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date billing records.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Good understanding of façade construction, material standards, and execution processes.
• Excellent command of MS Excel, billing formats, and measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, contract management, and billing software preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of relevant IS/ASTM/EN standards preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong time management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years of experience in billing for façade, glazing, or construction projects.
