Job Purpose: The Façade Quantity Surveyor is responsible for cost estimation, BOQ preparation, material quantification, budgeting, and cost control for façade and glazing works. The role ensures commercial accuracy, adherence to project budgets, and timely submission of reports and claims. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Conduct quantity take-offs for façade systems such as ACP, glazing, curtain walls, louvers, cladding, and associated materials. Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotations. Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and commercial comparisons. Monitor project budgets and update cost-to-complete forecasts. Coordinate with design, procurement, planning, and site execution teams for alignment on quantities and revisions. Verify and certify sub-contractor bills based on site progress. Assist in preparing contractual claim documents, variations, change orders, and pricing of deviations. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications. Support the management team in negotiation and finalization of contracts. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation methods. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software tools. Knowledge of relevant IS/ASTM/EN standards preferred. Excellent analytical, documentation, and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and strong time management. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 2–5+ years of experience in façade quantity surveying or similar role.
Job Purpose: The Billing Engineer ensures accurate measurement, documentation, and certification of work executed at the site. The role involves preparation of client bills, subcontractor bills, reconciliation, and supporting project accounts with timely and accurate quantity updates. Key Responsibilities: Prepare client and subcontractor bills as per contract terms, progress, and certified quantities. Conduct site measurements and verify quantities executed against drawings and site progress. Maintain reconciliation of material consumption versus approved BOQ. Coordinate with site engineers, planning, design, and procurement teams for billing-related documentation. Prepare backup documentation for RA bills, final bills, escalation bills, and variation claims. Track billing schedules, cash flow projections, and support monthly progress reporting. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, technical specifications, and quality standards. Review as-built drawings, work order details, and contractual scope to avoid deviations or disputes. Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date billing records. Required Skills & Competencies: Good understanding of façade construction, material standards, and execution processes. Excellent command of MS Excel, billing formats, and measurement techniques. Knowledge of BOQ preparation, contract management, and billing software preferred.
