Job Description

Job Location:- Surat

Job Summary:

Estimation Engineer

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare
cost estimates
,
BOQs
, and
rate analysis
for civil construction projects.
Perform
quantity calculations for running and final bills
based on site measurements and drawings.
Handle
billing-related documentation
, including measurement sheets, abstracts, client bills, and supporting records.
Coordinate with the site team for
measurement verification and bill certification
.
Assist in
basic QA/QC activities
, including checking work execution as per drawings and specifications.
Maintain QA/QC records such as checklists, inspection reports, and material test reports (as applicable).
Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimation and billing.
Support tendering activities and cost comparisons when required.
Maintain proper documentation, records, and version control for estimation and billing data.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
quantity surveying, billing, and estimation
Basic understanding of
QA/QC procedures in civil construction
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD
, and billing formats
Ability to read and interpret
construction drawings
Good coordination and documentation skills

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in
Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience:

Experience in
residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Exposure to
client billing and subcontractor billing
Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience as an Estimation Engineer or Billing Engineer.
