Job Description

As a Business Development Manager (Field Sales) in the EdTech sector, you will play a crucial role in driving end-to-end B2B sales across your assigned territory. Your main responsibilities will include: - Prospecting, demonstrating, negotiating, and closing deals with schools, colleges, coaching centres, and corporate accounts. - Managing a defined sales territory by building a pipeline, prioritizing high-impact leads, and achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets. - Delivering compelling in-person product demonstrations and needs-based consultative pitches to decision-makers and influencers. - Nurturing and growing strategic accounts through relationship management, renewals, and upsell opportunities. - Coordinating with onboarding, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth implementation and high client satisfaction. - Maintaining accurate records in CRM, preparing sales forecasts, and reporting performance against targets and KPIs. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record in field sales or business development, preferably experience selling to educational institutions or corporates. - Consistent achievement of sales targets and experience managing pipelines end-to-end. - Practical experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent) and disciplined pipeline hygiene. - Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to close enterprise and mid-market deals. - Comfortable with extensive travel across assigned territory and a flexible hybrid working model. - Customer-first approach with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outcomes.
