Profile:Business Development Manager – Student Recruitment (India to New Zealand)

Location: India (Open to remote and travel across major cities)

Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Managing Director / Founder

Key Responsibilities:

1.Develop and execute a student recruitment strategy for New Zealand institutions.

2.Build strong partnerships with colleges, universities, and training institutes in New Zealand.

3.Create and maintain relationships with schools, counsellors, and education agents across India to generate student leads.

4.Conduct and participate in education fairs, seminars, and webinars to promote studying in New Zealand.

5.Manage the student pipeline — from initial inquiry through counselling, application, and visa submission stages.

6.Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective digital and offline campaigns.

7.Stay updated with New Zealand immigration and education policies, course offerings, and institutional requirements.

8.Provide weekly and monthly reports on student inquiries, conversions, and partnership activities.

9.Identify new market opportunities and recommend business growth strategies.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.

2.Minimum 3–6 years’ experience in student recruitment, international education, or immigration consulting.

3.Proven record of meeting or exceeding enrolment and partnership targets. 4.Strong understanding of New Zealand education system, visa process, and entry requirements.

5.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

6.Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and digital marketing tools. 7.Willingness to travel within India for partnership development and student events
