Job Description: Business Development Executive (BDE)
1Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & SalesIdentify, approach, and acquire new clients, partners, and institutional collaborations.Meet and exceed sales targets through innovative business development strategies.Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote courses and increase enrollment.Client Relationship ManagementBuild, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.Ensure consistent follow-ups to maintain engagement and conversions.Presentations & PitchesPrepare impactful presentations, proposals, and pitch materials independently.Represent the academy at meetings, seminars, workshops, and networking events.Travel & Market ExpansionWillingness to travel extensively across cities in South India to explore new opportunities and strengthen relationships.Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.Coordination & ReportingWork closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, academic) to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and programs.Maintain organized records of leads, proposals, and business activities.Provide timely reports on progress and performance against target.1.Required Skills & CompetenciesExcellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).Strong relationship-building and convincing skills.Highly organized with effective follow-up habits.Proactive, persuasive, and target-driven mindset.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in preparing presentations, marketing collateral, and business documents.Negotiation and closing skills for high-value partnerships.Strong time management and multitasking abilities.1.Educational & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).1–2 years of experience in business development, marketing or sales, preferably in the education, training, or skill development sector.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
