Job Description

Business Development ExecutivE

Primary Purpose

To actively promote the company’s products and delivery services through on-ground marketing, customer engagement, and relationship-building. This role involves distributing promotional materials, educating customers on ordering channels, collecting feedback, driving sales, achieving daily targets, and maintaining strong customer relationships while upholding the company’s brand image and values.

Key Responsibilities

I. On-Ground Promotions and Flyers Distribution

  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and promotional materials to promote products and services.
  • Inform customers about order placement methods (Call, WhatsApp, Mobile App) and ensure they understand the delivery process.

II. Customer Engagement and Support

  • Engage with customers face-to-face, answer queries, and explain product offerings and delivery services.
  • Assist customers in placing orders and encourage repeat usage of delivery service.

III. Data Collection and Reporting

  • Collect customer feedback and details for CRM follow-ups.
  • Track and report daily activities, including leads generated, orders received, and conversions achieved.

IV. Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Work closely with fellow field marketing executives and Team Lead to execute promotional plans.
  • Assist team members with customer interactions and promotional material distribution.
  • Coordinate with Business Development Executives (BDEs) to align and support all marketing activities of the firm.

V. Product Awareness and Trial Promotion

  • Promote product samples (if applicable), explain ordering & delivery process, and encourage product trials.
  • Increase customer awareness and interest in products and delivery services.

VI. Feedback and Insights

  • Report customer feedback, complaints, or challenges related to products or delivery.
  • Share insights about customer preferences and effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

VII. Customer Relationship Management & Follow-ups

  • Conduct follow-ups with customers every 2 weeks to encourage repeat orders.
  • Build and maintain strong, healthy, and long-term relationships with customers.
  • Promote brand loyalty and trust through consistent engagement.

VIII. Sales Targets & Performance

  • Achieve and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Increase average basket value to the company’s set benchmark.
  • Actively contribute to revenue growth through field promotions and relationship-building.

IX. Brand Representation & Values

  • Promote the company’s brand and maintain its dignity, professionalism, and values during all interactions.
  • Represent the company in a positive and customer-centric manner.

Requirements

  • Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license (mandatory).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Target-driven with basic sales knowledge.
  • Willingness to work on-ground and interact with diverse customer groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
