Factory Supervisor

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure production efficiency, and maintain quality standards in the factory. The ideal candidate will manage teams, monitor workflow, and ensure the factory operates in a safe and productive manner. We prefer experienced candidates from food-related industries.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a factory supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve production or workflow issues.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in a factory environment.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

• Supervise and oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
• Plan and allocate tasks to workers based on production schedules and priorities.
• Ensure optimal use of resources (manpower, machinery, materials) to maximize efficiency.
• Identify and address bottlenecks or delays in the production process.

2. Quality Control:

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure standards are met.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement improvements in quality control processes.

3. Team Supervision:

• Manage and guide factory workers, providing clear instructions and expectations.
• Ensure team members are adequately trained for their roles and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Address worker grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve productivity.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the factory.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards.
• Maintain proper documentation of safety protocols and worker compliance.

5. Inventory and Material Management:

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Reduce wastage and optimize material usage in the production process.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
• Document incidents, downtime, and any maintenance issues for future reference.
• Provide updates to management on factory operations and suggest process improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
