Battery Pack Delivery Engineer(80005378)

• Battery Pack Engineering Lead overall battery development activity – NPI project. SPOC for all internal and external stakeholders for project co-ordination and execution. Develop packaging concept for battery pack development with supplier, review DMU and CAD signoff. Battery pack mechanical design activities, 3D CAD / 2D drawing review and PLM release. Support to field issues resolution, pack and vehicle level testing and status tracking. Project tracking / review status preparation and version maintenance Project documentation RFQ, SOR, TRSO, PDSR, DFMEA, DFA, DFS review and signoff. Support in CAD work during DMU finalization. Support Vehicle proto / production build, build issue resolution and documentation. Support to Indenting and PO formalities. Pack Engineering activity for inhouse development. Lead / Support localisation, VA/VE, bench test set-up, infrastructure development,. Support BMS development, Thermal engineering CAE, DVP. Support module engineering module design & development, module architecture and layout, module to pack integration. Support module aggregate selection - busbars, connectors, mechanical structure, busbar welding, sensor selection and integration.

• Education: Masters in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 + Year Experience in EV aggregate - Pack devlopment
• Experience in EV battery new technology development / testing
• E Expertise V aggregate development
• Awareness of product development process
• Awa in reness of battery pack systems and sub-systems
• Knowledge of basic layout / functions inside Battery systems / subsystems
• Knowledge of basic selection criteria for HV aggregates, can make concept layouts, can prepare RFQ with mentor, can prepare requirement checklist with mentor guidance, handle release process, support field issues, basic battery pack development, basic knowledge in electrical / mechanical / thermal domains regarding battery pack / module development.
• Knowledge of Battery design targets and aggregate selection process.
• Ability to lead team, define scope, create test plans.
• Can define / support battery pack simulation / validation requirements.
• Detailed knowledge in mechanical / thermal areas, pack / module development, project management, benchmarking.
• Lead release process, project documentation, handle field issues.
• Lead DMU study of the component in vehicle, awareness of structural design, CAE and thermal management.
