Responsibilities:

• Should have a complete understanding of li ion battery pack design and development
• Build the requirements of battery pack, analysis, specification, validation, and management of requirements independently throughout the product life cycle
• Any product /sub-product development experience, taking it all the way to production
• Collaborate with product designers, system architects, electrical engineers, and software engineers to define and document product requirements that meet customer and market needs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Need to be able to technically drive the cross-functional team towards a design, debug issues & provide systemic solutions
• Manage changes to requirements and ensure proper impact analysis and documentation.
• Participate in design and code reviews, and support test engineers in defining and executing system and software tests to ensure compliance with requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior requirements engineers and other cross-functional team members.
• Negotiate with Customers on change in the requirement and track the necessary changes.
• Clarify ambiguous requirements with internal or external customer
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to requirements engineering processes and tools, and ensure best practices are shared across teams and projects.
• Should be able to present to stakeholders from a position of subject matter expertise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or a related field. BE Or ME
• 6 - 10 years of experience in Application engineering of battery pack and BMS / Charger, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with customers and suppliers.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
