Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 360000 - Rs 480000 (ie INR 3.6-4.8 LPA)

Min Experience: 2 yearsLocation: SuratJobType: full-timeThis position involves managing end-to-end banking operations for a fast-growing luxury retail environment. The role focuses on daily payments, journal postings, fund flow oversight, loan-related processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will coordinate extensively with multiple banks, ensure compliance with internal financial policies, and support smooth, error-free banking operations that contribute to strong financial discipline across the organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Process timely payments across categories such as salaries, vendors, old gold, margins, and loan-related disbursements
Post daily journal entries for receipts and payments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with accounting records
Monitor balances across Cash Credit (CC) accounts and manage fund flow to maintain healthy cash positions
Handle interest payments, EMIs, and corporate credit card settlements
Coordinate with banks for approvals, issue resolution, loan-related documents, and operational follow-ups
Manage Auto-Sweep processes and support WCDL repayments with required documentation
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and validate all transactions against internal records
Prepare and circulate Daily Fund Reports and support monthly MIS for banking and transaction summaries

Strong understanding of banking operations, payment processes, fund flow, and reconciliation activities
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP tools, and accounting systems with high accuracy in financial documentation
Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage banking interactions and follow-ups
Detail-oriented, analytical, and dependable, with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Organized, proactive, and responsible, with a mindset geared toward financial discipline and timely execution
