Banking - Deal Intelligence Business Analyst - C10, Officer - Mumbai

General Description: The Analyst will play a key role as an early contributor in building multiple proprietary Citi Databases supporting the banking teams across the globe. The work includes populating/analyzing excel files & other relevant databases, creating/updating presentations, and ad-hoc projects in a high-pressure environment. The Analyst will be a part of the larger M&A Deal Intelligence team, hence it will also require the ability to source, analyze & organize/present M&A information in a thoughtfully approached manner. The role requires the candidate to interact directly with the New York team & hence requires good written and verbal communication skills. The Analyst is required to work closely with stakeholders in the New York / EMEA team with a focused approach on quality of the output. Key Responsibilities: Development & maintenance of multiple proprietary Citi Databases Research & source key information from various 3rd party databases & other web resources Maintain proprietary information on M&A trends in Sector/Region Analysis of M&A & Capital Markets information as a derivative to other related materials Skills: Analytical skills: To interpret, analyze, summarize and present information Research Skills: To source, read and comprehend information on M&A & Capital Markets transactions. Knowledge of Financial terms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail & ability to take sound judgment Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Respect for information confidentiality Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications Exposure to SQL queries Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications Good understanding of Investment Banking and its products.
