Job Description

The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a wide variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. This role requires creativity in recipe development, precision in production, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. The Bakery Chef ensures consistent quality, appealing presentation, and efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and bake a variety of bakery products including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts. Develop new recipes and seasonal menus that align with the brand and customer preferences. Ensure all bakery items meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards. Manage ingredient inventory, ordering, and cost control. Supervise and train bakery staff and assistants in baking techniques and kitchen safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor oven temperatures, mixing times, and baking processes to ensure consistent results. Decorate and finish pastries and cakes with precision and artistic flair. Coordinate with other kitchen departments for special events or catering orders.
