Backup Administrator

As a Backup L2 Admin, your role will involve providing support to a critical client with over 1000+ servers using your L2 skills in Commvault backup administration. You will be expected to be highly flexible, ready to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends for on-call support. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily monitoring and management of Commvault/AWS/Azure backup systems. - Ensure successful completion of scheduled backup jobs and address any failures promptly. - Perform data restores as requested by users and other IT teams. - Test and validate backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity. - Maintain accurate documentation of backup configurations, procedures, and policies. - Generate regular reports on backup status, performance, and issues for management review. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct periodic tests. - Participate in the Audit activity. - Implement ITIL processes for Incident and Change Management. - Handle Problem Management and Critical Incidents effectively. - Collaborate with the team and demonstrate logical thinking for Root Cause Analysis. - Be prepared to provide 24/7 support. - Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills. Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of RHEL admin experience. - B. Tech or Diploma qualification. - Certification in Commvault/AWS/Azure Backup.,
