Role Overview: As a Backup Administrator specializing in Commvault, your main responsibility will be to manage, administer, and optimize backup solutions within the enterprise. You will focus on ensuring the protection, availability, and integrity of critical data through scheduled backups, monitoring backup health, and managing disaster recovery processes. Your experience with Commvault software, backup infrastructure, and disaster recovery practices will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and manage Commvault backup software, ensuring backup jobs are completed successfully and on schedule. - Perform daily monitoring of backup jobs to ensure successful completion and investigate any failures or errors. - Conduct regular testing of backup data to ensure the integrity and recoverability of information. - Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot backup systems, including hardware (e.g., tape libraries, disk-based storage), software, and related technologies. - Configure and manage backup policies, schedules, and retention policies in Commvault. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure quick recovery in case of data loss or disaster events. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Education background in B.E./B.Tech/MCA. Additional Details: The company offers health insurance and provident fund benefits to employees. The work location is in person.
