Job Description

Our company, a leader in the IT sector, is looking for highly qualified and motivated *Backup Administrators *to strengthen our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and monitoring backup infrastructures for our clients, ensuring high standards of data protection, security, and operational continuity.

Main Responsibilities

Configure and manage backup and restore operations using Commvault.
Troubleshoot backup failures and ensure data recovery integrity.
Monitor backup jobs and proactively address failures or inefficiencies.
Optimize backup schedules, storage utilization, and retention policies.
Perform regular testing of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies.
Open and manage support tickets with the vendor and collaborate on issue resolution.
Maintain documentation of backup procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in backup and restore management using Commvault.
Strong troubleshooting skills in backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
Familiarity with storage technologies and virtualization platforms.
Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation is a plus.
Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
