Backend Lead

Job Title: Backend Lead Experience Level: 9+ years Location: Chandigarh Position Type: Full-time Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Node.js Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Node.js, along with proficiency in AWS, JavaScript, REST API development, MongoDB, and React. Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of Node.js developers. • Architect and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Node.js. • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and backend systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Node.js development. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Node.js. • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services. • Proficiency in JavaScript and related frontend frameworks such as React. • Solid understanding of REST API design principles and best practices. • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. • Can handle onshore team and on time Tickets resolution. • Must be good in handling queries of Developers and QA’s Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with containerization technologies such as AWS Lambda, AWS. • Familiarity with serverless architecture. • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
