Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend business logic
• Design and manage relational and non-relational data models
• Work with JPA / Hibernate for ORM and database interactions
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability
• Integrate with external services, third-party APIs, and internal systems
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions
• Debug production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and deployments
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or higher)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (REST, Security, Data JPA)
• Strong understanding of Maven for build and dependency management
• Experience with JPA / Hibernate and ORM best practices
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of application security fundamentals (auth, authorization, data protection)
  

Good To Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Exposure to caching strategies (Redis, in-memory caching)
