Job Description

Backend Developer Intern assists in building, testing, and maintaining server-side applications under the guidance of senior developers. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Backend Development – Work with senior developers to write and maintain backend code using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP. Database Management – Learn how to design, query, and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). API Development & Integration – Assist in creating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrating them with frontend applications. Debugging & Troubleshooting – Identify and fix minor bugs, and test backend functionality. Basic Security Implementation – Learn authentication techniques like JWT/OAuth and secure data handling. Performance Optimization – Assist in improving database queries and server response times. Collaborate with Teams – Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and DevOps teams. Documentation – Maintain clear documentation of code, APIs, and development processes. Required Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory): Basic knowledge of backend programming (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, etc.) Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases Understanding of REST APIs & HTTP methods Version control (Git/GitHub) Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies Interested candidates share your updated resume here or to hr@foxiom.com Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Provident Fund Location Type: In-person Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
