Backend Developer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• 🛠️ Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go
• 🧠 Collaborate with the engineering team to design scalable data models using MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• 🧩 Integrate backend services with basic frontend components using React.js, HTML, and CSS
• 🔗 Work with authentication protocols, third-party APIs, and internal data systems
• 🧪 Debug, optimize, and ensure code quality with unit testing and code reviews
• ☁️ Assist with basic DevOps and deployment tasks including Docker, Firebase, AWS or GCP
  

Required Skills

• 🎓 Pursuing or recently completed a B.E/B.Tech or related degree in CS/IT
• 💻 Hands-on knowledge of Node.js or Python for backend development
• 🌐 Understanding of RESTful APIs, version control with Git, and database queries
• 🖥️ Some exposure to frontend frameworks like React.js is a plus
• 🚀 Willingness to learn fast, take ownership, and work in a startup environment
  

Nice to Have

• 🧱 Exposure to MVC architecture and microservices
• 🔒 Basic understanding of authentication and authorization such as JWT and OAuth
• 📊 Familiarity with GraphQL, Firebase, or real-time systems like WebSockets
• 🧠 Contribution to GitHub or personal side projects
