Back Office Executive

Job Title:Back Office Executive Department: Insurance Operations Industry: Insurance Brokers/Insurance Services Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Back Office Executive to support our insurance operations. The role includes managing policy documentation, data entry, customer records, and coordination with sales, underwriting, and claims teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in backend insurance processes and be familiar with both life and general insurance products. Key Responsibilities: Process and maintain insurance applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations Verify, input, and update customer data in internal systems and insurer portals Coordinate with field/sales teams for pending documentation and clarifications Assist in claim registration and documentation handling Generate and maintain accurate reports for internal review and audits Communicate with clients and insurers via email or phone for follow-ups Ensure proper recordkeeping and adherence to compliance guidelines Requirements: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Working knowledge of insurance products and services (Life & General Insurance) Proficiency in insurance ERP systems and insurer portals (for policy creation, updates, etc.) Hands-on experience with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced work environment Basic understanding of insurance compliance and the policy life cycle       Preferred Background: Experience in an insurance broking firm or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) preferred Minimum 1–3 years of back office/operations experience in the insurance sector Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in insurance will be an added advantage
