Back Office Executive ( Insurance)

Job Title: Operations Executive – Insurance (Back Office) Location: Ahmedabad Department: Insurance Operations Reports To: Operations Manager / Team Leader ⸻ Key Responsibilities: 1. Policy Servicing • Handle issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations of general insurance policies. 2. Claims Support • Assist in claim intimation, documentation, follow-ups, and settlement coordination. 3. Data Entry & Documentation • Maintain accurate records in insurance portals and internal systems. • Ensure error-free preparation of policy schedules and documents. 4. Customer & Sales Support (Back-End) • Prepare quotations, comparison sheets, and assist sales teams in documentation. • Support in resolving customer queries through backend coordination. 5. MIS & Reporting • Prepare daily/weekly reports on issued policies, pending cases, and claims status. 6. Compliance & Audit • Ensure processes are in line with IRDAI regulations and company policies. • Maintain required documents for audits. 7. Coordination • Liaise with insurers, TPAs, surveyors, and internal teams for smooth operations. ⸻ Experience Requirements: • 1–3 years’ experience in General Insurance back-office operations. • Exposure to Motor, Health, Fire, Marine, Liability, and Project Insurance (CAR/EAR) preferred. • Knowledge of policy issuance, endorsements, and claims handling. • Experience with insurance portals / CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, Word). ⸻ Skills & Competencies: • Accuracy in documentation & data entry. • Good communication & coordination skills. • Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail. • Basic understanding of IRDAI compliance
