Job Summary

We are looking for a Back-End Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Node.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. The developer will work closely with front-end, DevOps, QA, and product teams to build high-performance, secure, and reliable systems. The role involves backend logic development, database integration, API design, and improving system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for scalability and reliability.

• Implement business logic, integrations, and backend workflows.

• Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Integrate backend services with databases (SQL/NoSQL).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) throughout the SDLC.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance.

• Ensure backend services follow best practices in security, performance, and fault tolerance.

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on backend development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate) and Node.js (Express.js/NestJS).

• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and backend logic.

• Solid understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Good understanding of API security, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and best practices.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.

• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP) – Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, etc.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

• Experience with GraphQL, serverless architecture, or event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with unit testing & automation (JUnit, Jest, Mocha).
