Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement distributed, microservice-based backend systems using Python and cloud-native tools.
Build and scale RESTful APIs, async jobs, background schedulers, and data pipelines for high-volume systems.
Lead complex PoCs, system architecture discussions, and design reviews.
Create and optimize SQL and NoSQL data models (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, ClickHouse).
Design highly available services with robust logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Ensure security, scalability, and fault-tolerance in backend implementations.
Take full lifecycle ownership of services, from design to deployment and production support.

Requirements:

7+ years of backend software development experience with Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
Expertise in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and AWS cloud-native applications.
Strong knowledge of API design, OAuth2, message queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Excellent communication skills; bonus for AI/ML or ticketing/chat platform experience.
