RideSense is a next-generation motorcycle ride management and touring platform, designed for India’s growing leisure motorcycling community. Our app empowers riders with personalized routes, curated destinations, and seamless ride planning and tracking. With our launch in 2025, we are building a passionate team to take RideSense from early adopters to larger scale national rollout.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Back-End Engineer experienced with Nest.js and cloud technologies to help design, build, and scale the RideSense backend infrastructure. You’ll develop high-quality APIs, manage server-side logic, and ensure our systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

  Nest.js

  and

  TypeScript

  .
• Build robust

  RESTful APIs

  to power our mobile and web applications.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless data exchange and feature integration.
• Manage and optimize

  databases

  (PostgreSQL).
• Configure and maintain

  AWS

  infrastructure (EC2, S3, Cloudfront, etc.) for scalability and performance.
• Ensure

  security, reliability, and cost efficiency

  across backend systems.
• Work closely with the product and technical teams to evolve the system architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with 1-3 years of experience in

  Nest.js

  ,

  Node.js

  , and

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  .
• Experience with

  AWS

  and

  cloud-based architecture

  .
• Solid understanding of

  database design

  and

  data pipelines

  .
• Experience with

  Git

  agile development practices

• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Passion for motorcycles or interest in learning about the motorcycling community is a plus!
