Job Description

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain
REST APIs
and backend services using
NestJS, Node.js, and Fastify
.
Work with
PostgreSQL
and
MySQL
for schema design, data modeling, and query optimization.
Architect and implement
microservices-based solutions
for scalability and resilience.
Implement
authentication and authorization flows
(JWT/OAuth2) with a strong focus on security.
Ensure system performance through
database optimization and caching strategies
.
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to
code reviews, CI/CD pipelines
, and best coding practices.

Mandatory Skills:

TypeScript
– Strong proficiency in building type-safe, production-ready applications.
Node.js
– Solid backend development experience with modern frameworks.
NestJS
– Hands-on experience building modular, scalable backend applications.
Fastify
– Strong understanding of high-performance Node.js frameworks.
PostgreSQL
– Expertise in schema design, indexing, and query performance.
MySQL
– Solid knowledge of relational database design and query optimization.
Microservices Architecture
– Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
Token-Based Authentication
– Expertise in
JWT/OAuth2
authentication and API security.
Git
– Proficient with version control and collaborative workflows.

Good to Have:

Azure Cloud
– Exposure to cloud-based deployment and services.
Docker
– Experience with containerization and orchestration.
Redis
– Familiarity with caching mechanisms and in-memory databases.
