Role Description

We are seeking Backend Developer(L5) to join our team, collectively bringing deep expertise across the following tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, Golang, Vapi, RDMS, and AWS deployment tools including Amplify, Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Secrets Manager, and Route 53. One engineer may focus more on frontend and backend; alternatively, both can be fullstack specialists. Together, you will cover the full spectrum of our technology landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend APIs using Golang.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines to pull and index job or candidate data from third-party APIs (e.g., Fantastic Jobs).
• Develop services and data models for RDBMS (Aurora DB).
• Manage and improve system infrastructure using AWS services like Beanstalk, EC2, Secrets Manager, Route 53, and Amplify.
• Participate in CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Make local architectural decisions and mentor others in backend practices.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects involving semantic search or AI integrations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Golang or TypeScript for backend development.
• Deep familiarity with AWS infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of relational databases (Aurora, PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Ability to build high-quality, maintainable APIs and services.
• Proven ability to work independently and take features from idea to production.
• Bonus: Experience with scaling API systems, RAG-based data retrieval, or AI agent pipelines.
