Job Description

UTelecom is an Australian unified communications and managed services provider, delivering mobility, UCaaS, PBX, data, and managed IT solutions to SMB and enterprise customers. We work closely with leading carrier and technology partners to help businesses grow, scale, and modernise their communications.

Account Managers

You will own your accounts, your pipeline, and your revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities
  • Generate leads through outbound activity and referrals
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Prepare proposals, pricing submissions, and commercial offers
  • Close new business deals and contribute to revenue growth

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers
  • Cross-sell and upsell UCaaS, PBX, Mobility, and Managed IT solutions
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage renewals, retention, and customer lifecycle activities

Sales Operations & CRM

  • Maintain accurate opportunities, forecasts, and pipeline updates in CRM
  • Coordinate with internal teams for service delivery and onboarding
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, deal progression, and closure

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-6 years experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Proven ability to prospect, generate opportunities, and close deals
  • Experience selling technology, telecom, or managed services
  • Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote role

Nice to Have

  • Experience in UCaaS, PBX, Mobility, or Managed IT services
  • Exposure to Australian or international B2B markets
  • Understanding of sales cycles, forecasting, and revenue targets
