We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer with Good experience in Microsoft Fabric to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will support data integration, transformation, migration and pipeline development across various business domains. The candidate should have at-least one end-to-end hands-on implementation experience with its core components (e.g., Lakehouse, Dataflows, Notebooks, Power BI integration).
- Assist in designing and building scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
- Work with One Lake, Lakehouse, and Dataflows Gen2 to ingest and transform data.
- Collaborate with analysts and business users to support reporting and dashboarding needs via Power BI.
- Support data modeling and schema design for structured and semi-structured data.
- Participate in data quality checks, lineage tracking, and performance optimization.
- Document data processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work with other cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and tools as needed.
- Analyze existing implementation and work towards target state using Microsoft Fabric.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components:
- Lakehouse architecture
- Dataflows Gen2
- Notebooks (PySpark or SQL)
- Power BI integration
- Experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Experience with Data Modeling concepts.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
- Exposure to CI/CD, data governance, lineage, and observability tools.
- Experience with other data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or Cloudera is a plus.
