Role

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver high-quality auditing services to clients in compliance with professional and industry standards.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of audit and accounting engagements within established timelines, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members.
• Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments in accordance with applicable standards and firm methodology.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members to ensure high-quality work and continuous development.
• Build and maintain strong, proactive, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction throughout the year—not only during audit periods.
• Conduct research and assist with resolving technical queries raised by clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.
  

Skills, Attributes And Competencies Required

• Qualified or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably with at least three years’ audit experience.
  

• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation and the ability to review disclosures using checklists
• Experience using audit software; working knowledge of CaseWare is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Awareness of business trends and emerging industry and technical developments.
• Effective team player with a proactive and motivated approach.
• Strong leadership capability, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to critically analyze and assess information.
