We currently have opportunities for Audit Seniors to join our Azets Ireland team. The team currently consists of 10 members based in India.
Role
This role is integral to strengthening Azets Ireland’s operations and expanding its presence in the region. As an Audit Senior, you will support the senior management team by assisting with client relationship management and providing day-to-day support to the Hyderabad-based team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, ensuring all engagements are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Deliver high-quality auditing services to clients in compliance with professional and industry standards.
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of audit and accounting engagements within established timelines, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members.
- Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments in accordance with applicable standards and firm methodology.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members to ensure high-quality work and continuous development.
- Build and maintain strong, proactive, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction throughout the year—not only during audit periods.
- Conduct research and assist with resolving technical queries raised by clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.
Skills, Attributes And Competencies Required
- Qualified or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably with at least three years’ audit experience.
Degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; able to show initiative and apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation and the ability to review disclosures using checklists
- Experience using audit software; working knowledge of CaseWare is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and technical proficiency.
- Awareness of business trends and emerging industry and technical developments.
- Effective team player with a proactive and motivated approach.
- Strong leadership capability, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to critically analyze and assess information.
