About the Role

AWS Tech Lead / Migration Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead

  cloud migration

  initiatives, ensuring smooth transition of workloads to AWS.
• Automate deployments and operational processes using

  Python scripting and IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform)

  .
• Manage

  containerized environments

  with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, and monitor

  highly available and secure AWS architectures

  .
• Configure and optimize

  monitoring solutions

  (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with security and DevOps teams to enforce

  cloud governance and compliance policies

  .
• Troubleshoot system issues and drive

  root cause analysis

  for incidents.
• Provide

  technical leadership and mentorship

  to DevOps and cloud engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in

  AWS cloud engineering / migration

  .
• Strong

  Python programming

  skills for automation, tooling, and integration.
• Hands-on expertise in

  AWS services & CloudFormation templates

  .
• Proven experience with

  OpenShift (or Kubernetes)

  for container orchestration.
• Proficiency in

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Strong understanding of

  networking, Linux systems, and cloud-native architectures

  .
• Familiarity with

  configuration management tools

  (Ansible; Terraform is a plus).
• Strong

  troubleshooting and incident management

  skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of

  AWS Well-Architected Framework

  and

  cost optimization

  strategies.
• Experience with

  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

  for observability.
• Certifications (any of the following):
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
• Experience in

  microservices architecture

  and

  DevSecOps practices

  .
