Job Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in building, managing, and automating DevOps pipelines on self-managed infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in at least two of the following:

• Jenkins / CloudBees Jenkins
• Docker
• JFrog Artifactory
• SonarQube
• GitHub Enterprise

You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing repositories, automating build and deployment workflows, and ensuring seamless DevOps integration across environments.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Expertise1. Jenkins / CloudBees Jenkins

• Design and write pipeline-as-code (Jenkinsfile) – declarative or scripted
• Create multi-branch pipelines and configure build triggers (SCM/webhooks/cron)
• Manage plugins (Git, SonarQube Scanner, Artifactory)
• Set up Jenkins agents (static/dynamic)
• Store and manage build artifacts, logs, and test reports
• Troubleshoot and monitor builds via console output

2. Docker

• Create and maintain Dockerfiles for application packaging
• Use Docker Compose for local testing environments
• Build, tag, and push Docker images to JFrog Artifactory registry
• Implement security best practices (multi-stage builds, cleanup automation)

3. SonarQube

• Configure and integrate SonarQube for Java/Maven or .NET projects
• Analyze and manage reports for code smells, vulnerabilities, and bugs
• Enforce quality gates in Jenkins pipelines using CLI or plugins
• Define project-level and global rulesets
• Manage access control and authentication

4. JFrog Artifactory

• Manage local and virtual repositories (Maven, Docker, npm)
• Implement artifact retention policies and automate uploads via Jenkins
• Configure permissions, users, and groups for access control

5. GitHub Enterprise

• Manage repositories, branches, and pull requests
• Configure branch protection rules and merge checks
• Set up webhook triggers for Jenkins integration
• Resolve merge conflicts and implement GitFlow or trunk-based workflows

6. Linux & Scripting

• Navigate and manage Linux file systems (Ubuntu/CentOS)
• Write Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts for automation
• Configure log rotation and cleanup for Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory
• Set up reverse proxies (Nginx/Apache) as needed
• Monitor and troubleshoot application logs

Minimum Requirements

• 2–3 year of total experience
• 2+ years hands-on with any 2 or more of: Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Enterprise
• Strong understanding of DevOps workflows and automation
• Must be able to clearly explain their configuration and automation work in each tool

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Awareness of DevSecOps and security practices
• Experience with monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios
• Exposure to .NET Core apps hosted on IIS or Kestrel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
