About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and optimize our deployment infrastructure and CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Infrastructure as Code, with proven experience in cost optimization and scalable system design.This role involves close collaboration with backend engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between development and operations while maintaining scalability, reliability, and security across our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation (or similar tools).Architect, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS, including compute instance sizing and resource allocation.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and AWS services to automate deployments and testing.Implement cost optimization strategies, resource monitoring, and rightsizing for AWS infrastructure.Manage Docker containerization workflows image builds, optimizations, and multi-environment deployments.Oversee SQL database migration processes and coordinate with backend engineers for data consistency and performance.Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.Document DevOps processes and guide development teams in following deployment best practices.Strong expertise in AWS CloudFormation and AWS resource management.Proven experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) setup, scaling, and cost-efficient operation.Hands-on experience in CI/CD automation with GitLab, Jenkins, and related AWS tools.Proficiency in Docker, including image optimization and multi-stage builds.Good knowledge of Python and its deployment environments.Experience with SQL databases, migrations, and backup processes.Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in production environments.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).

Nice To Have

Exposure to Terraform or other IaC tools.Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and using security scanning tools.Background in database administration or performance tuning.

Qualifications

Education: Candidates must be graduates from Tier-1 or Tier-2 Institutes IITs, NITs, IIITs, or BITS Pilani.Experience: 58 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
