Job Summary

Job Role: AWS Developer – Athena, Lex and Connect Key Responsibilities: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS Developer or Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on IVR solutions. Must-have expertise in Amazon Connect: Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex contact flows, managing queues, routing profiles, and user configurations. Experience with Amazon Lex: Demonstrated ability to build, train, and deploy sophisticated conversational bots for IVR, including intent recognition, slot filling, and fulfilment. Experience in Amazon Athena: Experience in querying and analysing large datasets from Amazon S3 using Athena for IVR analytics and reporting. Strong programming skills in Python or Node.js, with hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda functions. Solid understanding of core AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM Experience with other AWS AI/ML services like Amazon Polly (Text-to-Speech) and Amazon Transcribe (Speech-to-Text). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments. In-depth hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and Amazon Athena, along with a strong understanding of the broader AWS ecosystem. AI/ML capabilities to create personalized and efficient voice and chat interactions. Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Define and implement best practices for IVR flow design, contact routing, and integration with backend systems. Develop detailed technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and documentation for IVR solutions. Leverage Amazon Athena for data querying and analysis of IVR call logs, customer interactions, and performance metrics to derive actionable insights. Develop AWS Lambda functions (primarily in Python or Node.js) for backend logic, integrations with external APIs, and data processing for IVR solutions. Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, CloudWatch, and relevant AI/ML services (e.g., Polly, Transcribe, Comprehend) to enhance IVR functionality and analytics. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of the IVR system.
