AWS Data Engineer (On-site, India)

About The Opportunity

A business operating in the Cloud Services & Data Engineering sector, focused on building scalable, secure data platforms and analytics pipelines on AWS. This on-site role in India is ideal for engineers who deliver production-grade ETL, real-time ingestion, and data warehousing solutions that enable analytics and ML at scale.Role & Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS to support analytics and ML workloads.
Implement serverless and cluster-based processing using AWS Glue, Lambda, and EMR with Apache Spark for batch and streaming jobs.
Manage data storage and warehousing solutions in Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift; optimize schema, partitioning, and query performance.
Author robust SQL and Python code for transformations, ensure data quality, lineage, and implement monitoring/alerting for pipelines.
Apply Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices to automate deployment (CloudFormation/Terraform recommended) and maintain reproducible environments.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and DevOps to onboard datasets, tune performance, and troubleshoot production incidents.
