AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer Experience: 3–5 Years Location: On-Site (Gurugram) Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure and services. You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.). Automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. Monitor system performance, availability, and health using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline). Perform security and compliance tasks including IAM policy management, encryption, and auditing. Conduct cost optimization analysis and implement best practices to reduce cloud expenditure. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud-based systems and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and deliver cloud solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, security groups, route tables). Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Familiarity with DevOps tools and Agile development processes. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. Exposure to serverless architecture using AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic requirements.
