Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Product Control at Barclays, you will embark on a transformative journey to spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Manage End to End Product Life cycle including PIRs, Product Attestations, Health checks, and Product Reviews. - Front run BCCF and NAPA submissions. - Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Attestations. - Conduct Horizon scanning for new regulations and gap analysis. - Assist in implementing regulatory requirements. - Oversee Pricing Review & Governance. - Manage Audits (Internal and External) and track audit observations and remediations. - Conduct Annual Policy Reviews. - Manage ORACs, Policy Dispensations, and track due dates. - Provide inputs to various control forums. Qualifications Required: - Technical Orientation in line with role expectations. - Ability to promote continuous improvement, enabling breakthrough innovations and incremental improvements. - Stay abreast with the latest industry changes. In this role based in the Pune office, your purpose will be to partner with the bank to provide independent assurance on control processes and advise on improvements to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework. As an AVP, you are expected to collaborate across the bank to maintain a robust and efficient control environment by executing ad-hoc assessments and testing on the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls. You will communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders, develop detailed test plans, and contribute to policy development to enhance overall control efficiency. Furthermore, you will lead a team in performing complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees towards achieving those objectives.
