Automation Tester

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and QA methodologies. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit). Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#). Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, BDD frameworks like Cucumber). Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities:Reviewing software requirements and designing effective automated test scenarios. Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. Identifying, analyzing, and reporting software defects by reviewing test execution results. Enhancing and optimizing existing automation frameworks to improve overall test coverage and reliability. Collaborating with the QA team, developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality deliverables. Participating in design and code reviews, providing automation-focused insights to improve testability. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring regular execution of test suites. Preparing detailed test documentation, reports, and metrics related to automation testing activities. Working closely with clients or stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure automation aligns with business needs.
