Automation Tester

Role Overview: As a Senior Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer at Emerson's EEEC Pune location, you will play a crucial role in implementing software and product testing for the Emerson Syncade team. Your responsibilities will include developing testing strategies, writing and maintaining test scripts, performing analytics, and generating QA reports. You will also collaborate with the Product and Software development team to determine the scope of QA and testing needed. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and promote an integrated QA and testing culture - Write manual and automation testing scripts - Adhere to industry standards and explore innovative QA and testing methods to enhance software quality - Document and present QA metrics - Foster innovation and disciplined software testing practices within the team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering/Computer Science - Willingness to learn new technologies - 6+ years of experience in QA and Manual/Automation testing - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Experience with test automation and frameworks, particularly Selenium and C# - Proficiency in Software Unit Testing - Attention to detail and commitment to quality - Excellent communication skills and effective time management - Ability to analyze User stories, design Test cases, and report defects Additional Details: Emerson prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
