Job Description

As a Software Quality Engineer, your role involves performing manual and automated testing using various tools and frameworks. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts, test data, regression suite, and test reports. Your key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and reporting software defects, issues, and risks to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising software developers, product owners, business analysts, and project managers to apply quality engineering principles and methodologies like agile & lean. Additionally, you will provide quality training and coaching to team members, monitor system metrics during tests, and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment. Being involved in all Agile ceremonies and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement are also part of your job. Qualifications Required: - 3-4+ years of experience in software quality engineering or testing - Solid knowledge of software testing concepts, techniques, and tools - Understanding of programming languages like C# - Scripting knowledge in Java, Javascript, Python, etc. - Familiarity with agile, DevOps, Lean canvass, and Kanban methodologies - Experience in automation testing of APIs - Experience with Jmeter or Loadrunner - Experience using Cypress for UI automation testing - Understanding of common data formats (JSON, XML, and YAML) - Knowledge of SQL and database technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - High attention to detail and accuracy Nice to have: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field - Certification in software testing or quality engineering (e.g., ISTQB) - Awareness of mobile device testing with APPIUM and device testing - Experience in automation testing using Playwright and Java Key Competencies/Core Capabilities Required: - Analytical - Detailed oriented - Customer focused - Professional - Adaptive - Proactive - Strong communication skills,
