Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are urgently looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Cypress, JavaScript, and Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify test scenarios, automate workflows, and maintain high software standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript and Python.
• Create, manage, and execute functional, regression, and integration tests for web and API-based applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) for automated testing.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the build process.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of proven experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end web testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python scripting for test automation.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerized testing environments.
• Exposure to Performance or Security testing tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹323,032.44 - ₹1,212,634.40 per year
