Automation Test Engineer (Java + Selenium)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java + Selenium to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance, test automation, and delivering bug-free digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure test coverage and high-quality releases.
• Develop and manage scripts for API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and report detailed defect logs.
• Contribute to Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Skills & Technologies:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins
• Good understanding of POM (Page Object Model) and Data-Driven Testing
• Familiarity with API Testing tools – Postman, REST-assured
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with JIRA, Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
  

Good to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
