Automation specialist - Stonebranch UAC

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC) Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in workload automation, orchestration, and enterprise scheduling solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation workflows using Stonebranch UAC to streamline IT operations and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain Stonebranch UAC components (Universal Controller, Universal Agent, Universal Data Mover, etc.).

• Design and optimize automation workflows for batch scheduling, job orchestration, and cross-platform integrations.

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into automation solutions, and provide technical expertise.

• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, ensuring stability and high availability of scheduling environments.

• Develop and maintain scripts and connectors to integrate UAC with enterprise applications (ERP, cloud platforms, DevOps tools, etc.).

• Support migration and upgrade activities for UAC environments.

• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience working with Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC).

• Strong knowledge of job scheduling, workload automation, and orchestration tools.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell, etc.).

• Good understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and networking fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience integrating UAC with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or enterprise systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in migration projects from other scheduling tools (Control-M, Automic, TWS, etc.) to UAC.
